    Burn Off is an Arcane Zine focused on the darker side of Arcane, be it in a canon-compliant, canon-divergent, post credit or fully alternative setting. Our goal is to celebrate content in all forms. We look forward to being able to collaborate with all of you in order to bring this to life!

    Guidelines

    • Age

    • All contributors must be at least 18 years old during applications

    • Contributions

    • All pieces for the zine must be a new, stand-alone piece created for the zine

    • Samples should be in the style you want to contribute to the zine

    • The use of AI and plagiarism is strictly forbidden

    • Arcane samples are not required but encouraged

    • NSFW and DD samples are not required but highly encouraged but must be appropriately tagged

    • We ask contributors to not share WIPs, drafts/sketches or finished pieces of their zine works outside the server until after all orders have been shipped

    • Behaviour

    • Due to the theme of this zine there will be contributors that may have content on their profile others might find triggering. We ask all applicants and contributors to monitor themselves and be civil to all other applicants and contributors

    • We do not tolerate bigoted comments and behaviour (this includes racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia and sexism)

    • Accessibility

    • Applicants are responsible to check if their links are working, we will not reach out if the provided links are inaccessible

    • Communication

    • Contributors are required to have a Discord account as the communication will happen strictly through Discord

    • Contributors are expected to check-in with mods regularly and inform the mods ahead of time if they need an extension/want to drop out of the event

    What is a zine?

    A zine is a collaborative collection of fan-created works, usually centered around a specific media or theme.

    What is This Zine?

    This zine is a zine celebrating the darker side of Arcane fan content

    What is Dead dove do not eat content?

    Dead Dove Do Not Eat is simply an acronym that means “what’s on the tin”, as in, what the tags say is what a fic or a piece of fan art may contain, and to take note of it. For our purposes, Dead Dove is a catch for all content that would need to be warned for when creating a piece of work.

    Is this zine sfw or nsfw?

    Due to the nature and content of the zine, this zine will be fully NSFW.

    who can apply?

    Anyone who is 18+ will be able to apply to this zine! Due to the nature of the zine, we also ask you to be aware that some of the people on the project may create work on their profiles, which may be triggering, and ask that all applicants be able to monitor themselves accordingly. Just because a particular type of content doesn’t make it into the zine doesn’t mean that we won’t have participants who create it privately. We ask that you have the ability to work civilly amongst all participants.

    What content will be in this zine?

    Part of our interest checks is gauging what kind of content people would and wouldn’t like to see in our zine. Please check back after interest checks are over for an updated list!

    Are aus or non-canon content allowed?

    Yes, AUs and non-canon content are allowed!

    Will league content be allowed?

    The main focus of the zine are the Arcane versions but we also allow League versions of those characters e.g. Machine Herald Viktor.

    Is this zine for profit or for charity?

    This will be determined by the outcome of the Interest Check!
    If the Interest decides that this will be a for-charity zine, we'd be looking for a trauma/mental health focused charity.
